I went out to check the Hunt St Lilliput Library tonight to see if it needed topping up and found Murray, our neighbour, chatting with my husband Barry. We’ve been neighbours and good friends for 29 years with Jan and Murray but becoming co guardians of the Lilliputs has given us another connection.
Special thanks today to The NZ Book Council for publishing an article about Poems in the Waiting Room(NZ)and the Lilliput Libraries in their Booknotes Unbound. This publicity has resulted in Paper Road Press offering to send a box of their books for free distribution via our Lilliput Libraries. The NZ Book Council is also sending a parcel of NZ books for our libraries.
Many thanks for the bags of books we’ve been finding by the Library or left on our porches at 19 and 21 Hunt St. After unpacking them, we pop our Lilliput Library stamp on each book and then out they go into our library or off to one of our other Lilliput libraries.
Yay! Paper Road Press! Please include my book when it’s out. This is such a great project to support 🙂
